3. Robotics Subsystem: Hardware and Software Used
The robotics subsystem consisted of two Lego MindStorm robot kits that
interfaced to a Linux machine called Abraham through an IR
(Infrared) link.
The software used to interface with the robots is a language called Not
Quite C (NQC). Jason O'Kane provided the NQC program with robot commands
to make the robot perform up to three moves at a time. The data transfer
was done through the serial IR link that came with the robot kits.
